When in a postural based practice, please note at times a posture may be called that your body may not want or should not go into. Please do not force it but rather use that time to explore a posture you need. If you are unsure of a posture to substitute, try taking the time to focus on your breath and practice controlling it.

Flow
For those searching for more physical vigor in their asana practice, flow is a challenging, yet accessible, strength based class. This class is good introduction to the Vinyasa style.

Vinyasa WARM ROOM
Vinyasa is a fast pace, advanced class that offers postures that challenge your strength. It is typically not suitable for someone with an injury or mobility issues, and newer practitioners are encouraged to try begin with other strength based asana practices, such as Yoga - All Levels or Flow.

Yoga - All Levels
Intended for all levels, this class is what each practitioner makes of it. By letting go of expectations, you will be guided through a posture based practice that is followed by a time to breath, rest, and restore.

Yoga Nidra
Not to be confused with meditation, Yoga Nidra is a space of stillness where you are guided deep into a state beyond sleep. In this space you will subconsciously identify your default tendencies, characteristics, and behavioral traits (samskaras) and transform them from within. Classes often start with a self-analysis of the physical body to calm and clear the brain, followed by a guided relaxation, during which the mind is aware and soft, yet not sleeping.

Beginners Yoga
This class is designed for the exploration of body alignment and pranayama (breath) while developing strength, flexibility and balance in a safe and supportive environment. This class can accommodate a brand new student, yet experienced students may attend to reinforce the basics. Emphasis is placed on comprehension, safety, and stability within each pose.

Gentle Yoga with MJ
accommodates individual biomechanics, assists in the management of common aches and pains, and reduces stress. This breath-centered practice allows on to examine within, focusing on the body’s needs rather than achieving a perfect form. The postures lend themselves to various levels of challenge, making them accessible to all practitioners. These Classes may or may not utilize the yoga wall.

Gentle Morning Flow
A class for all levels to reset and be present in a gentle practice of body and mind. Asana or physical gestures will be offered to accompany moving inward for self exploration.

Yin and Pranayama
Yin is a time to move inward and focus on the subtleties of your body. During this slow paced, deep stretching class, floor postures are held for 1 - 10 minutes each and props may be used to achieve your desired space. Alongside Yin, Pranayama guides you to your resilience zone through breathing techniques that will help lift you up or ground you to maintain balance throughout your practice.

Strength and Stretch
A class designed to return you to the present moment, you will stretch your physical body while incorporating breath to increase or decrease sensation. This class is open to all body types, and you do not need to be able to touch your toes! Props will be available to make stretching more accessible, if needed.

Slow Flow Yoga
A class designed to offer tranquility through gentle strength based postures. Balance among stillness and movement to generate a firm foundation for your yoga practice, while also easing away your day.

Stretch and Renew
Balance your busy lifestyle, regular exercise routine or vigorous yoga practice with a gentle, slow moving traditional Hatha yoga class. This class includes a variety of stretches designed to lengthen the spine, decompress the joints and relieve tension from the muscles. The combination of isometric poses will gently build strength, while the restorative poses will promote relaxation.

Yoga Nidra/Sound Bath
This class is an experience. Come be lead through your senses with an exploration of yoga Nidra followed by a sound bath that vibrates the energy of your being. (if you have sensory sensitivities please talk with the teacher before class)

Wall Yoga 1-2
Come explore deeper intention filled expressions of the asana practice. Utilizing straps, swings and bars to aid in alignment and depth of a posture. The wall does not allow you to cheat in a posture but it simultaneously offers a beautiful sense of support allowing one to safely explore. This class does have strength components, please honor your body, there are gentler wall classes available.

Wall Deep Stretch and Wall Spinal Rejuvenation
These two classes are different but both fall into the realm of stretching and traction one with a focus on the health of the spine.

Introspective Yoga
This class will be meant to calm the mind and improve focus while strengthening and stretching the body. Moments picking heart rate up in order to observe it dropping down. A slower paced class with postures held for one minute or more, gentle transitions and resting poses allowing the mind to sense what is happening within the body. This class is meant to offer a time to reflect and grow both internally and externally. There will be an array of postures from standing to resting.
